How to "meal prep":
Meal prepping is simply preparing meals ahead of time, so you don't have to spend time slaving away in the kitchen daily. Most people try to prepare meals weekly, because that's the easiest when it comes to grocery shopping, storage, and food spoilage.
First, make sure you buy a decent amount of each food you're wanting to prepare. 7 chicken breasts, plenty of spinach, 7 apples, etc. Cook all of your food at once. That's the beauty of it! Once you've prepared everything how you want it, store it in tupperware in your fridge to keep it fresh. When reheating food, if you need to, either stick it in the microwave or reheat in the oven. The ten minutes it takes to reheat is way less time consuming for your tired self when you come home from a long day, than to cook an entire meal. Meal prepping is perfect for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks as well. Always keep a snack packed with you for when random hunger strikes! I like to make my own snacks- you can refer to plenty of recipes for homemade granola bars, protein bars, and oatmeal bars that are easy to bake and bring to school, work, etc. This keeps you from purchasing or giving in to unhealthy or unideal choices.
